We currently have an exciting opportunity for Finance Manager to join our team. As part of the Central Finance Team, the Finance Manager\xe2\x80\x99s role is to provide clear and accurate information/guidance to the partner BU (Business Unit) team on accounting, system, and controls topics.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for creating a wide network of contacts in which to obtain such information and guidance and the ability to explain complex topics in a simple manner verbally and visually.

The role has no direct reports but works closely with the existing commercial and financial management teams, for communication onwards to UK (United Kingdom) Management as well as Global teams in Spain, Germany, and Denmark.

Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:

Business Unit Partner: Trusted partner to one of the business units, supporting with accounting topics and best practice in line with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)

Systems Expert: Responsible for IT systems such as SRP (Service Resource Planning), UniFire, Power BI etc. to update and refine to provide process improvements

Month End Closing and Consolidation: Monthly SAP (Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing) closing lead for Ireland (backup for UK) monitoring blackline closing with Outsourcers and BU\xe2\x80\x99s. ESPRIT/ADSTAR (Software) reporting along with BU consolidation

Internal Controls: Monthly oversight of the internal controls and record keeping providing assurance of BU result and financial statements

Monthly balance sheet reviews and other ad-hoc monthly tasks e.g., VAT (Value Added Tax) reconciliation

The role manages the month end closing process with our external outsourced provider and coordinates topics with the Business Units

Responsible for the closing right through to the ESPRIT close

What you need to make a difference

A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for

Accounting Principles (IFRS), Min. Part Qualified CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) / ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant)

Presentation techniques and Siemens Gamesa organization knowledge is advantageous

Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to set priorities and manage to tight deadlines

Ability to work methodically and independently where applicable

Relevant IT systems (MS Office especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word; SAP (SRP), Power BI)
