Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Hybrid - UK

Please note this role will require you to be onsite (Peterborough) one to two days per month or as work dictates.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.

Join AB Agri as a Supply Chain Finance Manager and play a pivotal role in enhancing our supply chain efficiency and contributing to our mission of sustainable and responsible agriculture.

What you\'ll be doing

• Production of the Distribution P&L reporting including causals and analysis
• Provision of relevant, insightful information to the Supply Chain team
• Ensure reporting and processes are simple, streamlined and continuously improving
• Continue to develop the data available in BI such that all key metrics are available and more causal information is automatically calculated
• Support the Distribution teams to evaluate capex proposals and develop a plan for asset replacement (assessing optimal asset type, asset life, maintenance agreements etc.)
• Supports the Supply Chain Business Partner with Supply Chain reporting to ensure it is accurate, representational, and helps to drive insight into operational success factors
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting process for Distribution costs
• Assists the Head of Supply Chain Finance in ensuring robust controls are in existence
• Work alongside the Supply Chain Finance team at period end to ensure completion of all required tasks to report the period results in a timely manner

What you\'ll bring

• Qualified accountant - CIMA / ACCA OR ACA - (Essential)
• Financial control & risk management experience - (Desirable)
• Budgeting and forecasting experience - (Essential)
• Good analytical skills - (Essential)
• Strong Finance system experience (Essential)
• Excellent Excel skills (Essential)
• Business Partnering experience (Desirable)
• Manufacturing finance experience (Desirable)
