FINANCE MANAGER

Band 5 (31,067 - 32, 654 FTE. Actual salary 21,377 - 22,469)

29 hours (4 days) a week. Term time only

As a result of the retirement of our long serving Finance Manager, we are recruiting a new Finance Manager to join Flixton Primary School to provide finance leadership, support and guidance within our hardworking team.


The ideal candidate will have experience of schools' finance and management, having worked in the education sector, but a desire to 'learn the ropes' and a capacity to acquire new skills is equally important. Our new Finance Manager will be committed to delivering work of a high standard with strong attention to detail. With good team working skills, the ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to managing their workload and be skilled in building relationships and managing their time, as well as a good sense of humour for those days when it doesn't quite go to plan.


The school is currently in the process of introducing the Access Finance system to manage the budget, and training will be provided.
