Job Description

Our client, a global Group located in the Trafford area, are looking to appoint a Finance Manager to lead the Finance team and support the Deputy Finance Director. The company has seen 10% YOY growth and are generating very strong profits. Strong leadership skills are required in this role as this will manage a team of 8. This role offers hybrid working and will suit someone ACCA/CIMA Qualified or Qualified by Experience.

Salary: \xc2\xa350,000-\xc2\xa360,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
\xe2\x80\x93 Leading on staff management and development of the Finance team, with focusing on continuous improvement including transformation across Finance
\xe2\x80\x93 Managing the quarterly VAT/Tax submission, including identifying and implementing improvements where required
\xe2\x80\x93 Leading the budgeting forecasting process and monthly KPI reporting
\xe2\x80\x93 Reviewing current processes and operations to identify key risks to support internal and external audit compliance
\xe2\x80\x93 Management and production of accounts for head office and overseeing the accounting entries for all business units
\xe2\x80\x93 Controlling central costs and recharge allocation, including the production of insightful Group cost analysis
\xe2\x80\x93 Managing and co-ordinating the customs, capital, leases and HMRC process & compliance

Requirements:
\xe2\x80\x93 ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or QBE
\xe2\x80\x93 Previous experience of leading a team
\xe2\x80\x93 Advanced Excel skills & strong SAP knowledge
\xe2\x80\x93 Experience of all balance sheet & trial balance reconciliations (including overseeing bank reconciliations, VAT & HMRC submissions, control accounts)
\xe2\x80\x93 Strong knowledge of VAT, HMRC compliance & taxation issues
\xe2\x80\x93 Excellent analytical skills
