Job Overview:

Axon More are working on before of a high growth, cutting edge organisation in the pharmaceutical field who are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team based near Manchester Airport.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager looking to take full responsibility of a finance function, coupled with partnering responsibility across IT, Marketing, Customer Service and HR.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, with a dotted line into the Company Group structure, this role will hold leadership responsibility in Manchester, providing support to the MD, and managing both internal and external relationships as you look to build a best-in-class finance function.

This role would be ideal for individuals in a Finance Manager position (or equivalent), and keen to step into an outstanding role that offers significant autonomy and opportunity to stamp your mark.

Salary: \xc2\xa360,000-\xc2\xa367,000

Location: South Manchester

• Establish and implement sound operations processes in support of the business plan covering finance, HR, and administration.
• Liaise closely with the Managing Director to keep them informed of all business performance, providing insight and advice into all finance matters.
• Act as a point of contact for all finance matters across the UK team and liaising with Group.
• Analyse business performance against operational plans, providing insight into KPI\'s across various departments.
• Act as the main point of contact for external relationships i.e., HMRC, banking and accounting service.
• Co-ordination of monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, ensuring all relevant audits are fulfilled.
• Creation and assessment of budget and performance evaluation.
• Responsible for controlling AR, AP and cash flow.
• Cash Control.
• Line management of an Accounts Assistant.
• Expenses control.

Person Specification:

• Minimum 5 years\' experience working in a Finance Manager capacity or similar.
• Bio-Tech sector experience is preferred, but not essential.
• Strong experience across all remits of an SME finance team.
• Excellent communication skills, including management experience.
