Key Responsibilities:
1. lead the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation.
2. Bank reconciliations for all company accounts, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and discrepancies investigated promptly.
3. Prepare and process international batch payments in multiple currencies on a fortnightly basis
4. Enter purchase invoices into the accounting system daily, ensuring each invoice is either fully posted or marked as pending for further review.
5. Reconcile the purchase ledger with supplier statements and follow up on discrepancies.
6. Manage VAT compliance: ensure VAT invoices are valid, VAT is recorded accurately, and receipts are provided for all applicable claims.
7. Process and submit VAT returns on a quarterly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC deadlines.
8. Process payroll and pension contributions
