Our organisation is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company\'s financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of financial regulations and principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to develop creative solutions to complex financial problems. • Leading a small team of finance staff to produce regular and ad hoc management information for the business to make key decisions
• Contribute to the achievement of the company\'s business objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy
• Develop and control the company\xe2\x80\x99s annual operating budget to ensure that all financial targets are met, and financial and statutory regulations complied with
• Oversee the preparation of the company\'s financial accounts to ensure that these are presented accurately and on time
• Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies, and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the company
• Carry out all necessary actions to ensure that the company meets its financial and legal obligations
• Overseeing the finance system
• Lease with banks and finance providers and provide the necessary reports.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Be a confident communicator
• Possess a high level of attention to detail and be able to work off your own initiative
• Have strong problem-solving skills and an investigative mind
• Construction industry experience preferable 2 to 5 years
• Previous experience as a Financial Controller with ambitions to take a step up in the future
• Track record of working in an SME business
• Hands-on and willing to get involved in ah hoc duties
• Strategic thinking \xe2\x80\x93 the ability to create and implement long-term plans to maximise business performance
• Commercial orientation / acumen \xe2\x80\x93 to ability to add value; a commercial mindset and the ability to develop this within others
• The ability to challenge & question results and ideas to identify issues and improve outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written \xe2\x80\x93 the ability to convey information effectively at Board level
• A capable user of accountancy packages such as Xero, and or understanding of CIS scheme accounting software and have strong excel skills
• AAT, CIMA part/fully qualified would be an advantage but is not essential however experience in a similar role is a must.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: \xc2\xa350,000.00-\xc2\xa360,000.00 per year Benefits:
