xc2xb7Reporting to: CFO Europexc2xb7Key Responsibilities:xc2xb7Oversee plant finance functions, including accounting, forecasting, and statutory reporting.
xc2xb7Support business decisions as a member of the site leadership team.Specific Responsibilitiesxc2xb7Leadership: Support the Plant Manager in daily operations and management.
xc2xb7Financial Data: Provide routine and proactive financial data to support business operations.
xc2xb7Advisory Services: Offer analytical, interpretive, investigative, and advisory services on business and commercial impacts.
xc2xb7Accounting Integrity: Ensure the accounting function adheres to generally accepted accounting principles and board policies.
xc2xb7Records Maintenance: Maintain ledgers, records, and books of accounts to meet company and governmental requirements.
xc2xb7Audit Liaison: Work with auditors to complete year-end statutory accounts timely and accurately.
xc2xb7Tax Compliance: Collaborate with third-party advisors for timely and accurate tax return filings.
xc2xb7Budgeting and Forecasting: Establish annual budgets, monthly accounts, and weekly forecasts.
xc2xb7Payroll Support: Facilitate the payroll process, acting as a key link between site team members and the offsite payroll team.
xc2xb7KPI Monitoring: Develop and maintain programs to monitor and control departmental KPIs and budgets.
xc2xb7Internal Controls: Maintain adequate internal controls.
xc2xb7Capital Expenditure: Assist in preparing and reviewing project requests for capital expenditure.
xc2xb7Product Cost Understanding: Develop an understanding of product costs and provide insights into product and customer profitability.
xc2xb7Project Management: Manage any other projects or tasks as requested by the CFO or Plant Manager.Position Requirementsxc2xb7Education: Professional Accountancy Qualification
