Job Description
Really excited to be supporting a retail business in Wakefield with their search for a recent graduate who is an inspiring accountant.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations,
- Processing purchase invoices, including appropriate checks and reconciliations
- Cash reconciliations
- Assisting with supplier payments
- Review & analysis of venue timesheets to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Assisting with payroll and payroll related tasks
- Assisting with weekly financial reporting & analysis
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system,
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting,
- Continuous support of Finance team members, processes, and procedures.
- Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA or Part/Fully Qualified AAT or finance graduate with some relevant experience.
- Possess the ambition to progress your career in accountancy further.
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.
- Competent Excel skills including formulas
