Job Description
Marks Sattin Executive Search is seeking a Finance Director to join a PE Backed Buy and Build Life Sciences Manufacturing business going through an impressive, buy-and-build driven, period of rapid growth.
Working alongside the CEO and senior management team, you will build out the finance function from scratch, implement new systems, processes, and controls as a solid foundation for future inorganic growth plans. Ready to roll up sleeves and take a hands-on approach whilst having strong leadership and communication skills to foster robust relationships with the Board, PE firm, and debt providers. This is a key senior position within the business involving developing and managing financial reporting, annual budgeting and planning, forecasting and long-term annual plan incorporating analysis to assess risks and opportunities, impact on profitability, working capital and covenants.
The ideal candidate:
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA).
- Experience as a CFO in a PE Backed business or alternatively an autonomous Divisional Finance Director and or Finance Director making a step up ideally with experience in a buy and build business.
- Involvement with M&A (acquisition and integration) and debt
- Experience working for an international business and cost management in manufacturing and or related.
- A high level of motivation, a "can do" attitude and a willingness to be involved at all levels.
