Finance Data Analyst required in Chatham, Kent. Up to \xc2\xa334K + excellent benefits (6 weeks hols, pension, healthcare etc) and on-going professional development with excellent long term prospects. Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week. Hybrid working an option.

This is a unique opportunity for a Finance Data Analyst to join their Management Information Team, based at The Royal School of Military Engineering in Chatham, Kent.

Finance Data Analyst - Skills and Qualifications:

• A qualification in a relevant financial and/or related discipline
• Advanced Microsoft Office experience especially Excel
• Knowledge of Power BI
• Database experience including interrogation and report design skills
• Analytics Experience
• Data entry experience

Person Spec:

• Strong Data Analyst experience gained from a financial environment
• High levels of attention to detail
• Logical and analytical with excellent numerical and critical thinking skills
• Team player but able to work using own initiative given set parameters
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• The ability to produce clear graphical representations and data visualisations
• Ability to communicate at all levels

Finance Data Analyst Role:

A newly created role within the Management Information Systems (MIS) team, the successful applicant will work closely with other Data Analysts to transform data analytics capabilities and be part of the delivery team, that will design and implement a Data Strategy for MKC Training.

The MIS is a relatively new department, having been initially set up to implement a timetabling system across the school, its remit has grown to encompass many key reporting areas, as well as enhancing existing reports, creating new solutions for reporting and modernising older processes, the MIS team will lead on Data Strategy setting and designing company wide solutions.
