A leading professional services business in Belfast require a Senior Finance professional to join their team on an interim contract. Do you have experience leading a finance function, while implementing improvements?

VANRATH are delighted to be partnered with leading professional services organisation in Belfast who are currently recruiting a Senior Finance professional to join their team on an interim basis. The finance function are currently going through a period of transition and this interim position will be responsible for reviewing the current processes and providing recommendations to the senior management team. This role is suited to a strong manager with experience of leading finance teams, implementing new processes and working closely with board level directors. This role is initially for a period of 3 months however dependant on business levels, there is potential for extension.
This is an urgent role within the business and can offer an immediate start for the successful candidate.
About you
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with 7+ years PQE
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to engage with and influence non-finance staff
- Strong organisational skills
- Available at short notice
- Work closely with CFO to review finance policies and procedures
- Overall management of the finance team, ensuring all deadlines are met
- Lead the team in preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assist wider finance team with training and mentoring
- Ad hoc project work
