Sewell Wallis are delighted to be working with a fantastic retail business based in Wakefield who are looking to recruit an ambitious and highly motivated Finance Business Partner.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role where you will support retail operations and driving financial performance. It is also the chance for you to work for a business where you can really understand and become passionate about the product.
This exciting new position would be the perfect role for someone looking to move out of audit into a more commercial role, or someone already working within a fast paced, highly analytical role within industry.
As the Finance Business Partner, your role will include the following duties:-
-Ensure accurate reporting and analysis of financial information
-Directly liaise with high profile clients, advising them with any queries and providing financial analysis when required
-Build effective and robust relationships with departments outside of finance, internally and externally, particularly Operations
-Create a series of reporting tools to analyse stock movements
-Reviewing all procedures and controls and identifying areas of improvement
-Liaise with external auditors
-Manage one direct report with the view that the team will develop and grow in the future
-Document operational and reporting procedures to present to new and existing clients
We are looking to speak to candidates who tick the following boxes:-
-A qualified accountant
-Proven experience working within audit or a finance analyst role
-Excellent excel skills and the ability to interpret large and complex financial data
-Highly driven, personable and ambitious
-Keen to manage a team
-Strong commercial awareness and understanding of core business processes.
