The Chief Financial Officer\'s (CFO) team vision is \xe2\x80\x9cto become a forward thinking, inclusive CFO Team consistently offering excellent service delivery, uncompromising on quality, delivering value and ensuring the financial sustainability of the University\xe2\x80\x9d. The CFO has recently launched a new organisation structure, which has presented an opportunity for 2 high profile, business centric Finance Business Partner roles to join the team.
The post holders will provide management information and support to Faculty and Directorate Senior Management Teams to help them to plan and manage their financial performance. They will support the Senior Finance Business Partner (SFBP) to deliver exceptional finance business partnering support to their portfolio of Faculties and/or Directorates, providing initial decision support and insight on financial performance.
In addition to this one of the post holder will be the capital spend expert for the University and will provide oversight and expertise to the Senior Finance Business Partners on all finance activities related to capital projects. This will include supporting the development of business cases, monitoring and reporting spend on capital projects.

The Successful Applicant:
A CCAB qualified accountant with a proven track record of achievement. Previous experience in Higher Education sector is desirable although we are very much open to strong candidates from other sectors. You will have up-to-date knowledge and relevant management accounting and business partnering experience in achieving excellent service delivery. You will have significant experience of working with senior management and stakeholders to deliver effective finance partnering. You will have prior experience of sizeable finance teams, and excellent communication skills.
