Finance Business Partner | Central Manchester (2 days in office) | \xc2\xa350,000 - \xc2\xa355,000 | High growth SME

Axon Moore are working with an award winning SME in central Manchester who are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team on a full time permanent basis. This would suit a CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified individual with drive and ambition, and an ability to confidently build relationship with non-finance managers across the business.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide detailed performance reporting for board packs.
• Business partner with the Managing Director and other Operational Managers, providing insightful business analysis.
• Review and analyse divisional costs to support accuracy of accounts. This includes providing accurate commentary and investigation into variances
• Work with business leads to produce meaningful budgets and reforecasts.
• Review monthly management accounts
• Ensure weekly utilisation and WIP reports are delivered and provide direction/support on ways forward
• Ensure sales are correctly recorded and carry forward positions monitored and challenged.
• Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are maintained and updated in an accurate and timely manner.
• Continuously look at ways to improve working files/processes/systems with the aim of increasing accuracy and reducing revenue write-offs
• Work closely with the customer services team to develop their commercial awareness

Ideal candidate:

• Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
• Solid management accounts or business partnering background
• Strong organisation skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines and to prioritise workloads
