About us The UCL Finance department is divided into 4 Directorates: Management Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Finance Business Partnering and Financial Services. They are responsible for the central management of UCL's financial performance and strategy and for the provision of services and advice. We currently have one vacant position for Finance Business Partner within the Finance Business Partnering team. The team forges strong relationships with stakeholders to enable expert advice, critical challenge and timely decision support to enable the best financial performance. The team is responsible for building trusted relationships and providing professional financial advice to UCL stakeholders.About the role As one of our Finance Business Partners you will build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with senior managers and their teams. You will be expected to lead on financial and resource matters; influence decision making; improve the understanding of business performance; support business strategy development; deliver analysis and insight on business opportunities; and provide options and scenarios for business decisions. This high profile and vital role provides wide ranging support on strategic and financial matters across their business area and the wider University as relevant. This will include drawing on finance experts to support complex or large projects to ensure the technical finance support is focused on the appropriate areas. This is a new and exciting job which will be fundamental in supporting the finance function to provide an excellent service to the University. There will be the opportunity to drive change and improve decision making across the University.
