Our Globally recognised food manufacturing client based in Grimsby is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their team in Grimsby. you will be part of a culture that values innovation, quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. You will be a key team member of the finance/operations cluster, reporting on yield and labour performance for varying timescales. Support a continuous improvement plan, improving data feeds and communication from factory floor through to the Head of Operations, reporting accurate/meaningful data to support accurate informative decision making

Key Accountabilities:

- Assistance in the preparation of monthly accounts for the Cluster.

- To act as a professional and trusted financial support to the Finance Cluster Lead and Head of Operations across all operational costs.

- To act as a professional and trusted financial support to the Finance Cluster Lead and liaise at a cross functional level

- Ensure MI is consistent, honest, open, routinely reviewed.

- The application of financial rigor to all activity to ensure value for money.

- Preparation and reconciliation of all stock items internal and external, highlighting any risks of obsolescence.

- Collecting, analysing, and reviewing quantitative data and creating meaningful reports to drive business improvement and cost reductions

- Root cause analysis and uncovering core issues using data

- Assist in the trending of reports and material variances communicating reports in a timely manner.

- Assist with development, and implementation of policies and programs that guide the organisation in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability

- Work with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate.

Experience required:

- Experience in manufacturing / operational accounting.

- Evident confidence in presentation, communication and negotiating with professional peer groups.

- Efficient in delivering objectives and key measures.

- Track record of delivery

- A personal commitment to role model behaviours

- A working understanding of Microsoft Office

- AAT Qualified

- Studying towards or ability to complete CIMA / ACCA
