Due to an internal move, we are looking for a Finance Business Partner \xe2\x80\x93 Central Overheads to join our Accounting & Financial Control team in a Group role.

Your responsibilities day to day will be\xe2\x80\xa6

• Partner across various functions within the Group to support budget holders in strategic decision-making and proactively engage in projects with stakeholders that create business value.
• Production of a quality monthly financial reporting pack, including full cost centre reporting and detailed balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with the Group timetable
• Manage and develop a team of 2 trainee management accountants to deliver high quality performance.
• Ensuring a quality year end audit pack is delivered to the auditors at the end of the financial year.
• Develop relationships with key business stakeholders and deliver commercial insight to enable these stakeholders to improve performance.
• You will be a champion of finance processes and systems providing proactive assistance, support and guidance to the team, to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies and adherence to Group policy
• Support the senior finance management team with ad hoc projects

What do we expect of you?

• Well progressed with exams or qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA accountant

• Advanced Excel skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Team management experience highly desirable but not essential

• Experience of interacting across all levels of the organisation including dealing with non-finance people to gather relevant information.
• Experience of fostering strong working relationships within the finance team and across the organisation.
• Excellent attention to detail.
