The role is a 12 month FTC as a Finance Assistant for a Not for profit organisation in the accountancy department based in York. Reporting directly into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and contributing to the Finance department.
Some of the key responsibilities of the Finance assistant include having strong and effective relationships with the purchase ledger and financial accounts to be able to support the team and the wider business. To input invoices onto the financial system and output invoices if queries are raised. To monitor and distribute documents efficiently and appropriately and to be involved in running the end of day banking.
