Part time only - 9am to 5pm 3 days (Monday essential)
Responsibilities:
- Job costing in a service market
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
- Provide accurate job costing reports to the project team
- Sales invoicing and purchase ledger entries
- Raise purchase orders and maintain purchasing logs
- Allocate product
- Allocate time sheet hours, including holiday entries
- Assist with weekly / month end reporting
- Ensure all accounting policies and procedures are updated and adhered to
- Assisting with general administrative tasks and accreditation renewals
- Provide cover for reception and other Finance / Admin tasks as required
Skills:
- Accounts/Admin experience essential
- SAGE/Intuit Quick Books experience essential
- Job costing and data entry experience essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a multi-company group environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Accounts Manager with various financial tasks. Your attention to detail, proficiency in financial software, and strong organisational skills will contribute to the accurate preparation of financial reports and budgets to the project team.
You will be responsible for processing financial transactions, maintaining records, maintaining Job / Project Costing, and assisting with financial analysis. Your ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with the team will ensure the smooth operation of the finance department. You will work with the Managing Director, Project Team and Operations to ensure project finances are monitored and reported.
