Job Description

Our client, a very well established company based in Reigate are recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join their Accountancy team on a part time basis for 12 months.

Key responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Assist with monitoring of budgets, and supporting budget holders with understanding budgetary information and planning

\xc2\xb7 Assisting with the preparation of draft and final Delegated Budget

\xc2\xb7 Checking and reporting any discrepancies in funding reports from Surrey CC

\xc2\xb7 Maintaining fixed asset and investment registers

\xc2\xb7 Posting accruals and prepayments

\xc2\xb7 Overseeing recharges, ensuring appropriate split of shared costs

\xc2\xb7 Assisting with Month end and year end close down processes, and ensuring the timely delivery of reports

\xc2\xb7 Supporting purchase ledger and payments management

\xc2\xb7 Processing changes to bank mandates, charge cards and online banking access

\xc2\xb7 Assisting with annual statutory audit

\xc2\xb7 Supporting financial management of residential trips (shared responsibilities with colleagues)
