Primary Objective of the role of Finance Assistant
Operating as part of our Administration team to provide support to the Practice Manager in managing and coordinating the practice finances, to achieve optimal efficiency and financial performance
Description of the role
Processing of all documentation associated with the practice financial accounts
Review income & expenditure statements, identifying any inaccuracies and rectifying
Input to the practice accounting system (Sage)
Prepare monthly journals for practice rental income, GMS income & payroll
Making payments from the practice bank account within agreed timescales
Bank account reconciliation
Raising invoices & claims for income due to the practice as required
Production of financial reports & forecasts
Processing monthly payroll for 40+ employees & partners
Overtime monitoring & holiday entitlement calculations
Update staff training records & issue reminders for mandatory training
Undertake any other additional duties appropriate to the post as requested by the Partners or the Practice Manager.
Part time role -16 hours per week
Salary - dependent on experience.
