We are searching for an experienced and purpose driven Finance Assistant to manage the financial administration and processes for Safehinge Primera Limited and Safehinge Group Limited, together referred to as "SHP".
Role Summary
We're at an exciting stage in our growth journey and this role will underpin the Finance function's ability to produce timely and accurate financial reports; essential in a scaling business. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this position involves a broad spectrum of operational responsibilities and requires a strong foundation of knowledge and experience of financial processes.
You will be responsible for the day to day operational processing within the Finance team including sales and purchase invoices, team member expenses (including company credit cards), daily reconciliation of bank accounts and other key balance sheet reconciliations. As our business is growing, you will also have the opportunity to support other financial processes providing an opportunity for personal and professional development.
Key responsibilities:
Performance of key financial processes within the company including:
Preparation of bank reconciliation and bank processing on Odoo
Preparation and dispatching of customer invoices ensuring accurate nominal coding.
Performance of aged debt analysis and escalation of any overdue amounts to the Finance Officer.
Processing of supplier invoices including assessment of purchase order and nominal coding assessment to ensure legitimacy and accuracy of invoices.
Resolve supplier queries, escalating more complex matters to the Finance Officer.
Reconciliation of supplier statements.
Review and processing of team member expenses (both out of pocket and company credit card) ensuring transactions are within the normal course of business and have been suitably authorised prior to submission to Finance.
Responsibility for month end expenses processing and credit card reconciliation.
Mailbox management to ensure queries submitted to Finance are triaged, responded to and/or escalated to the Finance Officer or Head of Finance as required.
What you'll bring

Proven experience in a similar role within a busy, fast-paced Finance team.
Strong organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to successfully manage a busy and diverse workload.
Foundational accounting and bookkeeping skills (AAT qualified/part qualified desirable).
Excellent IT system skills (Odoo or similar ERP experience advantageous, Microsoft Office and/or G-suite required).
Experienced in general office administration.
Passion for continuous improvement.
Capable in dealing with numbers, finances and spreadsheets (Excel).
Excellent people skills - you will be a natural people person whose values align with ours.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate important information and messages to all stakeholders.
