ASA Recruitment are working with a popular Glasgow educational institution to recruit a Finance Assistant on a contract basis. This role is suitable for candidates based in Glasgow to work on a hybrid working pattern.
If you started in this role today you would\xe2\x80\xa6
- Reconciliation of cash, cheque, Bacs and credit card transactions into the Finance System and Nominal Ledger Accounts, processing daily banking
- Carry out general administrative duties maintaining the centralised email inbox, responding to and resolving both internal and external queries via e-mail or over the phone in a timely, professional manner
- Finance counter duties associated with a responsive frontline service including processing payments, accurate completion of forms, and resolving varied staff and student queries
- Reimbursement of individual petty cash claims and recording these transactions, checking the validity of the claim and supporting documentation provided whilst adhering to the College\xe2\x80\x99s petty cash procedures
- Basic finance experience
- Good knowledge of administrative processes
- Comfortable working with numbers
