bMindful Psychology are currently recruiting a Finance Assistant to join us on a part time basis. This role is working 1 or 2 days per week and your preference can be discussed at interview

Job Summary



To support all accounting activities. Responsibilities will include processing sales invoices, collections and banking, processing purchase invoices along with general finance administration duties. - maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of the company's financial activities. The role requires attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:



Accounts Payable: Process and verify invoices, reconcile supplier statements, and ensure timely payments to maintain good vendor relationships. Reconciliation: Assist with reconciling bank statements, accounts and other financial records to ensure accuracy. Data Management: Accurately input financial data into accounting software and maintain organized records. Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Budgeting and forecasting: Support with creating budgets and quarterly forecasts. Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and provide insights for decision making. Support: Provide support to the finance team and assist with ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Skills



A relevant qualification in finance, accounting, business studies or similar is desirable but not essential. Previous financial administrative experience Experience with Credit Control Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Analytical thinking to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Strong written and verbal communication for professional interactions and competence in Microsoft Office Accuracy in documentation and maintaining records.
