What you'll do:

As a Finance Apprentice, you will:

Gain experience across multiple areas of finance, including accounting, reporting, management accounting, governance, and risk management. Work on financial reporting, helping to create and review financial documents that support key decisions and ensure compliance. Support the audit and assurance process, identifying areas of improvement and learning about the regulatory environment. Contribute to understanding investment strategies and financial controls within a public sector context. Assist in tax management, financial analysis, and strategic business management activities.



You'll be part of a supportive team that is always looking to improve financial processes and contribute to the long-term success of the pension funds we manage.




During your apprenticeship, you'll:

Rotate through different areas of finance, gaining hands-on experience in various functions, including finance, accounting and reporting. Work towards completing a

Level 4 Apprenticeship in Finance

, equipping you with the qualifications and practical experience needed to further your career. Develop your understanding of key financial regulations, Governance principles, and ethical standards that underpin our work. To apply for this apprenticeship, you'll need:

3 A 'Levels A

- C. 5 GCSE's - Maths 5, English Language 4.
A keen interest in finance, with a passion for learning and developing new skills in finance and investment management. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A proactive attitude with a desire to take on responsibility and contribute to the success of the team.

Starting Salary:

23,500 per annum, with opportunities for salary increases as you progress through the apprenticeship.
