Finance and Compliance Officer - Permanent role-Full time
We are seeking an experienced Finance Officer to play a key role in our small, professional school administration team, which is responsible for all finance and compliance functions within Elmhurst School. You will be supported by a capable finance team at Bellevue Head Office.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing payments from purchase order processing to goods received notices using Kefron purchase order system
The preparation of extra charges to pupils, such as trips via Magic Booking software
Dealing with parent queries regarding fees and associated costs
Managing payroll administration
Regular credit control of all incoming pupil finance streams
Monitoring and recovery of fee debts
Updating and maintaining fee records
Submission of early years funding requests
Completion of annual surveys
Management of compliance tracker, ensuring timely completion of work
The collection and recording of pupils' registration fees and deposits
To be considered for this role you will need to have experience of billing and credit control and dealing with financial matters as well as a calm, patient manner to handle phone calls and work as part of the wider school team. An accountancy qualification is desirable.
