Finance Associate
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Finance Team in our Support Office in Llandudno as a Finance Associate.
As a Finance Associate you will predominantly provide support within the purchase ledger area of the accounts department and manage the credit control process.
As Finance Associate, your role will include:
- Daily processing of Purchase Invoices. To include:
- Matching invoices to purchase order requisitions
- Resolving purchase order queries
- Monthly reconciliation of Supplier Statements
- Monthly processing of Supplier BACS payments. To include:
- Sending of associated remittance advices
- Ensuring payments are made promptly according to Supplier payment terms and Departmental timings.
- Filing of paid invoices
- Escalation of Debtors process including Court action
- Manage the direct debit collection process
- Prepare Boots UK commission reports
- Manage the SBS insurance process
- Assist within the Department where required
- Excellent IT knowledge, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
- Data analysing skills and understanding accounting procedures.
- Aptitude and willingness to develop.
- Good time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
- Capable of multitasking and the ability to work under pressure.
- Good team player who has a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
- Proactive, flexible and innovative.
