Job Description

Motability Operations are currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join our Finance Team in Bristol on a full-time, permanent basis. As Finance Analyst, you will be at the forefront of our data transformation initiatives; translating data into meaningful insight to inform decision making across the Motability Operations.

• This will involve setting up and configuring Power BI capabilities for the Financial Analysis and MI team.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translating them into impactful Power BI reports.
• Helping to educate and train team members on Power BI usage.

You will also be required to support the production/development of key reports and analysis required for corporate reporting and financial MI.

About You

• Ideally from a data driven analytical background with exposure to distilling data into insights and actions.
• Able to demonstrate attention to detail and precision in everything you do.
• Accountable and responsive with the ability to deliver effective outcomes.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently, asking for support or input from colleagues.
• A team player.

Minimum criteria:

• Strong skills in Power BI for data modelling for report development.
• Excellent Excel skills with the ability to manipulate large/complex data.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Management Reporting experience.
• Commercial awareness and sensitivity over confidential data and information.
• Good understanding of Accounting Concepts and Practices with experience of working in or alongside a Finance department (ideally ACCA/CIMA part qualified)
