He does so by creating timeless pieces that, enhanced by precious materials and artisanal craftwork, resist the whim of fleeting trends with their pure and essential design.Role Overview: To deliver all the period reporting, annual budgets, seasonal plans and analysis for the business performance. To contribute to the wider team in their drive for excellence, accuracy and the provision of expertise to the local teams.Responsibilities:

  • Monthly reporting of Actual performance for Giorgio Armani UK and Ireland, for all channels and Head Office functions.
  • Performing monthly analysis and commentary on Retail Margin and OPEX performance for Head of Finance and HQ consolidation team
  • Stock management reporting, including monthly obsolescence calculation and stock aging analysis
  • Working closely with the Accounting team to ensure accuracy in Intercompany reporting and presentation
  • Manage periodic SAP system reporting
  • Year-end Group reconciliation and support for the Annual audit performed in February each hear
  • Ownership of the annual budget and forecast processes
  • Prepare and control the reporting files for full P&L: sales, margin and operating expenses, plus CAPEX, with value added commentary for HQ consolidation team
  • Work with department heads to establish realistic, yet challenging budgets by store and by category.
  • Coordinate the process for preparing and uploading Wholesale Seasonal Plan, for both forecast and actual.
  • Investment Proposals
  • P&L simulations for exceptional sales
  • National statistics monthly, quarterly, and annual survey
Requirements

  • Ability to manage & meet deadlines simultaneously and confidently prioritise workloads
  • Strong attention to detail and precision with a xe2x80x9cfirst time rightxe2x80x9d approach
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, with a solution focused approach to problem solving and anticipation of challenges.
  • Articulate, strong and empathetic communicator, able to explain complex issues with ease and confident in proposing ideas
  • 1+ yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a similar role
  • Ideal for a Finance & Accounting graduate or NQ / PQ ACCA, ACA or CIMA candidate
  • Background in financial planning and analysis and financial reporting
  • Software : Confident with Excel (pivots, lookups etc), prior experience with SAP & BPC are a plus
