Job Description
A multinational transport and logistics business based in London is currently seeking a Finance Analyst to join their fast-paced finance function. The role will be responsible for management reporting, financial forecasting and analysis, transformation projects, and providing insights on financial performance, risks, and opportunities. Duties include:
- Provide business insight into the key business decisions through reporting and analysis.
- Promote and support process improvement and change through automation and standardization, to increase efficiency.
- Identify areas of cost within the relevant business area and seek explanations for the causes in fluctuations to the cost base.
- Support business case process by ensuring proposals have all the necessary information for decision making to protect company assets.
- Tracking of market trends to support the identification of business opportunities and threats.
- Adhere to all corporate, statutory, and regulatory requirements including group instructions and reporting standards.
- Actively build and maintain strong relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues at all levels across brands within the group.
- Additional ad-hoc analysis and project work to support the wider team and business.
