Our small, friendly team is growing, and we're looking for a Finance Analyst who shares our passion for supporting businesses and delivering excellence with honesty, care, and accountability.

The Role

You'll be a key part of our team, diving into client data, uncovering insights, and helping businesses make better decisions.
You'll report directly to the Practice Owner and work closely with a small, close-knit team where everyone's happy to muck in and help out wherever needed.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in everything from analysing financial data to supporting the smooth running of client accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse financial data and trends to support client reporting and advisory services Maintain and review bookkeeping records within QuickBooks Online Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary Build, maintain, and update financial models and reports in Excel Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow analysis for clients Communicate financial insights clearly to the internal team and, occasionally, to clients Support continuous improvement of client systems and reporting processes Help out with general team tasks where needed to keep things running smoothly
About You

You genuinely care about helping local businesses grow and succeed You enjoy analysing numbers, spotting patterns, and solving problems You are confident using QuickBooks Online and have strong bookkeeping knowledge You have excellent Excel skills (comfortable with formulas, pivot tables, and basic financial modelling) You are detail-oriented, organised, and committed to delivering high-quality work You work with honesty and accountability, taking pride in getting things right You are proactive, helpful, and enjoy being part of a team where mucking in is part of the culture You have good communication skills and can explain numbers clearly to non-finance people
Essential Requirements

Minimum 2 years' experience in a finance, bookkeeping, or analytical role Proficient in QuickBooks Online Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic modelling) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Right to work in the UK
Salary and Benefits
