We are looking for a proactive Finance Analyst to join an excellent business based in Coventry on a permanent basis. We are looking for a Finance Analyst who can provide financial and business insights to support decision-making for commercial, sales and operational teams. As a FP&A Analyst, you will report to the FP&A Manager and have opportunities to grow your career in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Role responsibilities of Finance Analyst

• Support the FP&A Manager and Head of FP&A in the analysis required for their monthly reporting deliverables.
• Work with the other finance analysts to ensure all queries received are dealt with in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ad hoc analysis and presentations as required by the senior finance team.
• Work closely with the FP&A Manager and Head of FP&A to support the annual budget and reforecast process.
• Responsible for preparation of various standard monthly and weekly report
• Prepare the analysis for the submission of the quarterly and annual legal survey results for the Firm.
• Work closely with financial system team
• Working with central finance department

Skills required of the Finance Analyst

• University degree (2:1 or equivalent), ideally in a numerate discipline.
• Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW) with 2-5 years PQE (1-2 years is sufficient if you have prior experience before qualifying)
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
• Proficiency with Excel and planning systems
• Highly organised
