We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing support for budgeting and financial planning. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial principles, contributing to the overall efficiency of our financial operations.
Duties
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
Prepare financial reports and assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Conduct regular audits of financial documents to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
Monitor cash flow and assist in managing bank relationships.
Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry and filing.
Support the preparation of tax returns and other statutory filings as necessary.
Experience
Proven experience in a financial administration role or similar position is essential.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices is required.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks) is advantageous.
Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
A relevant qualification in finance or accounting (e.g., AAT) is desirable but not mandatory.
