The Role: Finance Administrator (Part time)



Hours: 9am-3pm Mon-Fri, Permanent



Salary: Up to 27,000 pro rata (depending on experience)



Location: Hybrid

Medichecks launched the UKs first direct-to-consumer blood testing company in the UK and created a market where there was none. As well as the continued growth of our B2C business we now see considerable opportunity to grow in the B2B and B2B2C space through our technology platform, Plasma.

This role will be working as part of the Medichecks group, which includes Leger, who has been leading the way in testosterone replacement therapy since 1999.

Role and responsibilities



Bank Reconciliation



Maintain and reconcile transactions on Sage 200 Ensure timely identification and resolution of discrepancies in bank accounts.

Sales Ledger



Perform daily reconciliation of sales from multiple channels against cash received. Produce daily sales reports for review Accurately input sales data from various sources into Sage 200. Reconcile Sage 200 sales entries with external sales platforms to ensure consistency. Apply customer payments to Proforma invoices and provide timely updates to the Business Development Team. Process refunds (cash and vouchers) in a timely manner whilst ensuring transactions are recorded correctly Manage reconciliations across three distinct financial systems, demonstrating strong attention to detail and system knowledge. Conduct credit checks and review customer application forms as part of the new client onboarding process.

Ad-Hoc



Respond promptly to finance-related queries via the customer service ticketing system. Provide support on various finance tasks and special projects as needed. Assist with Purchase Ledger functions, including invoice processing and supplier account management.

Skills and Experience



Proven ability to input high volumes of data with precision and attention to detail. Able to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Strong Communication and Organisational Abilities: Skilled in clearly conveying information and efficiently managing tasks and documentation. Financial Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of Sage 200 (desirable); quick to adapt to new systems and tools. Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills: Proficient in using formulas such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, SUMIF, and capable in Pivot Tables. Familiarity with Power Pivot and Power Query is advantageous. Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and propose solutions. Detail-Oriented and Highly Organised: Focused on delivering accurate work while maintaining efficient organisation of tasks and responsibilities.
