CNC Recruitment are seeking a hands-on, experienced Finance / Accounts Manager to join our client's team in Crewkerne - a well-respected engineering company in the Southwest region. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to step into a varied and integral position within a tight-knit admin and operations team.

Salary:

40,000 - 45,000 p.a (Dependent on Experience)

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pmand Friday: 8:00am - 1:00pm

Start Date:

ASAP - Interviews available from next week

Key Responsibilities

Managing all aspects of the finance function Full responsibility for Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Invoicing Processing and overseeing Monthly Payroll Bank reconciliations and cashflow management Working with SAGE accounting software Preparing management accounts and reports Liaising with suppliers and customers Supporting with admin tasks such as planning, sales admin, and answering phones as needed Providing general support to the small office team

Requirements:

Proven experience in a Finance / Accounts Manager role or similar Strong working knowledge of SAGE (essential) Experienced in purchase ledger, invoicing, and payroll Ability to manage a varied and fast-paced workload Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and accuracy Quick to learn, adaptable and able to multi-task across functions Team player with a "hands-on" attitude Comfortable in a down-to-earth, industrial office environment

Desirable:

Experience within the industrial, engineering or manufacturing sectors Previous exposure to SME environment.
