BASIC SALARY: Up to \xc2\xa350,000

BENEFITS:

LOCATION: Predominantly the Glasgow area but cover required beyond.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Field Service Technician, Service Engineer, Electronic Engineer, Maintenance Engineer \xe2\x80\x93 Electronic Maintenance, Monitoring, Measurement, Test & Diagnostic Instrumentation

Reporting to the European and International Project Manager, you will carry out a number of duties and tasks in relation to our monitoring equipment and systems.

These will include:
\xc2\xb7 Installations and Commissioning,
\xc2\xb7 Diagnostics,
\xc2\xb7 Repair,
\xc2\xb7 Scheduled Maintenance and
\xc2\xb7 Fault Finding.

You will work across a number of industries and sectors including Medical, Healthcare, Research Facilities, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Hospitals, Blood Banks, Laboratories and vaccine manufacturers to name a few.

The majority of the work will involve staying away, often up to 2 weeks at a time depending on project size and location. We have clients across the whole of the UK, and into Europe, Asia and the USA and with the weekends off you will get to see some great places!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Field Service Technician, Service Engineer, Electronic Engineer, Maintenance Engineer \xe2\x80\x93 Electronic Maintenance, Monitoring, Measurement, Test & Diagnostic Instrumentation

\xc2\xb7 Carry out installations and commissioning of new monitoring equipment and systems.
\xc2\xb7 Perform fault finding tasks including, diagnostics and reporting.
\xc2\xb7 Repair, service and maintenance. both planned and reactive.
\xc2\xb7 Attend break downs to diagnose, rectify and repair.
\xc2\xb7 Demonstrate how to use equipment to clients and end users.
\xc2\xb7 Control of parts and spares as required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Field Service Technician, Service Engineer, Electronic Engineer, Maintenance Engineer \xe2\x80\x93 Electronic Maintenance, Monitoring, Measurement, Test & Diagnostic Instrumentation

\xc2\xb7 An electrical / electronics background
\xc2\xb7 Understanding of Electronic systems, wiring and computer networking.
\xc2\xb7 Fault finding skills including diagnostics and testing.
\xc2\xb7 Basic mechanical knowledge for hands on installation and repairs.
\xc2\xb7 Good communication skills at all levels internally and externally with colleagues, clients and end users

You must have a driving license and pass security checks due to some of the facilities that we work in.
