Job Description

Working for this growing family run business based in Chesterfield we are looking for a field service engineer, to provide installation, test and inspections along with reactive maintenance we think our clients commercial premises. Working within manufacturing, warehousing, data centres and commercial offices across the Midlands & South Yorkshire.
While the role is predominantly South Yorkshire and East Midlands based the client offers national exposure therefore travelling is essential in this role however you are paid door to door and provided I fan on the full tools to do the job.

The benefits of a field service industrial electrician:

• A basic salary of up to \xc2\xa343,000 depending on experience
• 40 hour week Monday to Friday
• paid overtime time and 1/2 weekdays and Saturday double time on a Sunday.
• Van, fuel card, & tools.

The role as an industrial field service electrician:

• Installation, upgrades and maintenance of industrial electrical wiring systems.
• Perform both complex and routine diagnostics for troubleshooting electrical issues, utilising wiring schematics, drawings, diagrams and technical manuals.
• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance and repair activities
• Use a variety of testing equipment
• Maintain record of repairs required, parts used and labour time

Skills and Qualifications needed to be successful in this Industrial electricians role:

• Apprentice trained electrical engineer Level 3 qualified as a minimum
• 18th edition - Preferable
• ECS Card \xe2\x80\x93 Essential
• Test and inspect \xe2\x80\x93 preferable.
• You must have experience working within an Industrial setting.
