Due to expansion, there is now an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their rapidly expending engineering team. Role: \xc2\xb7 The role is a field-based service engineer. \xc2\xb7 Attending customer sites carrying out service/breakdown/warranty and installations both individually or as part of a Team. \xc2\xb7 This role will need some one that has a strong electrical ability & will be suitable for an electrical/hydraulic control engineer from a recycling/quarry background. Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Servicing of Recycling Machinery such as compactors and balers. \xc2\xb7 Breakdown and warranty compactor machine repairs \xc2\xb7 Install & commissioning of compactors and balers. \xc2\xb7 Fault finding (Electrics) single and three phase systems. \xc2\xb7 Fault finding (Hydraulics) \xc2\xb7 Route cause analysis of breakdowns & warranty failures. \xc2\xb7 On call rota Knowledge, Skills & Experience required: \xc2\xb7 Relevant qualifications and background in mechanical /electrical engineering. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of heavy plant ideally within construction / Quarrying will be a major advantage. \xc2\xb7 knowledge of hydraulic and electrical controls systems is essential. \xc2\xb7 Experience working on single and three phase electrical systems. \xc2\xb7 Must have previous experience within a mobile/field servicing role. \xc2\xb7 Maintain positive working relations with customers. \xc2\xb7 Must have previous experience working within a mobile/field service. \xc2\xb7 Willing to travel and work a significant amount of paid overtime. \xc2\xb7 Must have a full driving licence. Additional Information: \xc2\xb7 Company phone, van, tools, workwear and Fuel Card supplied. \xc2\xb7 Full induction and H&S training will take place at factory. \xc2\xb7 Field training with current engineering team will be provided to the successful candidate in the Field. This will give the successful candidate exposure to the recycling equipment & reporting systems. Additional Package Details: \xc2\xb7 The role is based on 39.25 hours per week, paid at standard rate (salary \xc2\xa317ph-\xc2\xa320ph DOE), with a requirement for additional hours worked at an overtime rate of 1.5 \xc2\xb7 Salary: Negotiable dependant on experience, current average earnings Circa \xc2\xa360k with overtime \xc2\xb7 You will also be required to participate in an on-call rota, which is 1 in 3 weekends.
