Field Service Engineer

30,000 - 40,000 P/A plus overtime

1 in 3 Saturdays & 1 in 12 Sundays

We are recruiting a Field Service Engineer to join the team.

The main purpose of this role is to provide expert repair & maintenance services of various pieces of machinery.

In return, is a salary of

30,000 -

40,000 P/A

This role is full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be 47.5 per week, including 1 in 3 Saturdays and 1 in 12 Sundays.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing diverse pieces of machinery, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction, Providing support to customers and attending follow up calls, Completing scheduled planned maintenance jobs, Completing scheduled PA Tests, Ordering parts required to complete breakdown calls,
The ideal candidate:

Will need a proven track record in diagnosing, servicing and repairing machinery, Must have the ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics and diagrams to effectively troubleshoot, Needs strong communication and problem solving skills, Will be able to demonstrate experience in a field service role, preferably from an industrial or manufacturing background would be ideal, Must have proficient IT skills and the ability to operate tablet devices, Must be able to perform manual handling duties, such as lifting heavy industrial kit, A full manual driving license is an essential. A Bachelors degree or equivalent certificate in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related-field would be preferred.
