Job Description

We are actively looking to engage experienced maintenance professionals for a Field Service Engineer (Forks/Telehandlers) around the East Midlands area. The role will be remote and come with a company van and equipment!

As a Field Service Engineer (Forks/Telehandlers) you will report into the Depot Manager on a daily basis - however you will work remotely across the East Midlands area between the hours of 0830-1700. You will primarily be responsible for maintaining, servicing, repair and modify material handling equipment consisting of Telescopic, straight mast fork lift trucks, and ancillary equipment whilst on customer sites. You will also have the following responsibilities:

• Equipment maintenance, service, repair and modification of on site equipment (telescopic, straight mast forklift trucks
• Providing timely updated and schedules in line with preventative, reactive and schedule maintenance.
• Ensuring service sheets are fully accurate and updated using PDA logs
• To ensure personal health & safety is carried out at all times.

The successful Field Service Engineer (Forks/Telehandlers) will ideally have a background in field service maintenance of forklifts or telehandlers along with the following areas:

• 2+ years\' experience in the maintenance of forklift, telehandler or agricultural machinery.
• NVQ Level 3 qualified in a maintenance based subject
• Secondary background in HGV maintenance or hydraulic equipment would also be considered as full training will be provided.
• Ability to work remotely, in a vehicle, during the hours of 08:30-17:00 (Monday to Friday)
