Job Summary:
The Field Chief Information Security Officer (Field CISO) role will be instrumental in growing and expanding the Global sales organization client base. The Field CISO will breakdown and simplify cybersecurity strategy and enterprise risk into comprehensible terms, evangelize cross-functional solutions, and identify strategic partnership opportunities. They will engage, influence and be able to relate to the C-level suite, managers, internal pre-sales and engineering teams in order to drive the company's larger solutions forward and provide a roadmap vision to move the company forward in a way that aligns with the future of the industry.
This position will report to the Global Sr. Sales Vice President within the Global Sales department.

Responsibilities:
Include, but not limited to:Develop strategic, operational, and tactical recommendations tailored to each customer with the intent to improve a customer's security posture and compliance position.
Work closely with organizations to conduct security program development by establishing the foundation for a best-of-breed security program architecture reference model using industry frameworks and standards
Regularly evangelize solutions and roadmaps as one of our progressive thinking technical experts with customers, at industry conferences, trade shows, and partners
Collaborate with technology partners in the development and delivery of new SHI supported security services and offerings
Aid in the identification of upsell and/or cross-sell opportunities within the sales motion
Provide subject matter expertise on SHI's security solutions, services, and capabilities to help customers meet their security goals
Support consulting engagements, drive objectives, support deliverables, and ensure client needs and obligations are met
Serve as both an external and internal evangelist for SHI's security capabilities and services as directed by the leadership team
Staying abreast of new security solutions, technologies, tangential team capabilities, and other specific offerings within SHI and the security industry
Support the development and delivery of Account Executive trainings, sales collateral, and supporting materials
Act as a well-rounded Subject Matter Expert (SME) that has the technical depth to confidently present in front of audiences of all sizes
Support strategic sales opportunities with account teams by collaborating with them on internal meetings, joining customer calls and attending customer facing meetings
Understand and communicate the value proposition of strategic and tactical concepts for complex customer use cases
Act as an industry thought leader in customer meetings and public settings by understanding where the industry is headed and how our company can help our strategic partners move forward in their business sectors
Closely follow industry trends and direction to shape account team priorities
Continually increase job related knowledge and skills through formal education, self-study and independent work
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience required
15 years' experience in a customer-facing role developing and explaining strategic and tactical concepts to customers required or previous experience as a Field CISO
7 years' experience leading or serving as a member of an enterprise security team
Required Skills:
Demonstrate a real passion for cybersecurity solutions, design, and customer service
Strong oral and written communication skills with a high degree of comfort with varying types of audiences
Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to identify value and opportunity in unstructured situations
Emotional intelligence, flexible work style, and excellent diplomatic skills across all levels of an organization
Experience designing and delivering complex solutions and executing projects on time and to customer's satisfaction
Deep understanding of the security industry, best practices, emerging technologies, and leading solutions
Experience supporting various compliance and regulatory frameworks

Unique Requirements:
Position requires travel to customer sites and office locations
Additional Information:
Business working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 with a 30-minute lunch break. However due to the nature of the role, with its international reach and shared projects, working outside of these hours to service business needs will occur occasionally, and employees are expected to be readily available in these eventualities.
