Fibreglass Operative
Job Description
My client in the Carcroft area of Doncaster are looking for x 3 Fibreglass Manufacturing Operatives.
Main Duties
\xc2\xb7 Laminating and decorating the children\'s rides\' bodies with gel coat
\xc2\xb7 Using wax systems to maintain the quality of moulds
\xc2\xb7 Hand gelling / decorating mould surfaces
\xc2\xb7 Cutting materials using templates and dimensions specified
\xc2\xb7 Hand laying prepared components
\xc2\xb7 Work in a safe and orderly manner
\xc2\xb7 Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment at all times
\xc2\xb7 Planning your work to produce consistent quality standard work within a given timescale
\xc2\xb7 Ensure all the property and equipment you use is maintained and not recklessly damaged
\xc2\xb7 Comply with the policies and procedures of the Company
\xc2\xb7 When necessary assist in other areas, within your capabilities and training
Skills Qualifications and Experience Required:
\xc2\xb7 Experienced in fibreglass laminating and gel coat decorating
\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of self coloured split gel coat moulding would be an advantage but full training will be given
\xc2\xb7 Good team player and communicator
\xc2\xb7 Reliability and punctuality essential
\xc2\xb7 Experience in a similar environment is preferred
Working Hours:
39 hrs per week: Monday - Friday
