Job Description

We are currently seeking a compassionate, person-centred female Support Worker to provide overnight support for an individual in their own home. Due to the nature of the role, this position is open to female applicants only, in line with the [Equality Act 2010 - Genuine Occupational Requirement].

About the Role

This role is based in a private home, where you will offer one-to-one support to help maintain independence and improve quality of life. Responsibilities include:
? Providing gentle encouragement and reassurance during night-time routines
? Assisting with personal care and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment
? Offering medication prompts and reminders
? Supporting with companionship and comfort during moments of confusion or anxiety
? Ensuring the individual feels secure and supported throughout the night

What We're Looking For

? A kind, patient, and understanding approach
? Experience supporting individuals with dementia (preferred but not essential)
? Ability to encourage independence while offering appropriate assistance
? Comfortable providing reassurance during moments of forgetfulness or confusion

Pay: 13.15-15.50 per hour
