We are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to handle challenging situations, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. As a Door Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring compliance with licensing laws.

Responsibilities

Monitor entry and exit points to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises. Conduct regular surveillance of the venue using CCTV systems to detect any suspicious behaviour or incidents. Enforce venue policies and procedures while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Respond promptly to incidents, providing first aid when necessary and coordinating with emergency services if required. Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure effective communication and response strategies. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or fraud and taking appropriate action. Maintain accurate records of incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts.

Skills

Proficient in surveillance techniques and familiar with CCTV operations. Certified in first aid, with the ability to respond effectively in emergencies. Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies and techniques. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff and patrons.

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour
