If the answer is yes then you could be the person we are looking for to join the Villa Farm team in our busy award-winning farm shop in the run up to Christmas. This is a very varied role and no one day will be the same. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is happy to work on the shop floor, on the tills, behind the deli and to also help in the butchery department. Your role will include serving customers, checking off deliveries, stocking shelves, ensuring stock rotation, maintaining shop displays, pricing stock, working with food on our Deli, making sandwiches and salads, slicing cooked meats and cheese, as well as keeping areas clean. Working in the butchery department will involve packing meats ready for sale and preparing scotch eggs. On the job training will be given. A positive can-do attitude is most important. Hours: Approximately 20 hours in the run up to Christmas Eve with the potential to increase to approx. 32 hours in the New Year. Shift times will vary from week to week but will be given a fortnight in advance. Opening Hours: 8.30am - 5.00pm You must be available to work from now until Christmas Eve (inclusive).
