Farm Assistant Organic Vegetable Farm
Job Description
Clearwater Farm is a small-scale market garden in Arlington, East Sussex. We grow a variety of organic vegetables for restaurants across the South-East. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our small and friendly team on a part-time temporary basis for our busy season between June - October 2025.
We would be interested to hear from applicants who have agricultural experience but also welcome applicants who have other relevant, transferable skills. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is keen to learn and would like to assist in the production of high quality organic vegetables.
Approximately 14 - 20 hours a week.
Availability on Mondays and Wednesdays 07:00-14:00 is required.
Responsibilities:
Harvesting, washing, packing and grading vegetables
Propagating plants
Weeding, planting and preparation of growing beds
Essential attributes:
Ability to work both cooperatively and independently
Attention to detail
Ability to comfortably lift 20+kg
Own transportation
Happy to work outside, rain or shine
