Job Description
Main Purpose of Role:
- To assist the Livestock team by completing general duties to ensure the smooth running of the bull stud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Feeding, cleaning out and bedding down the resident animals
- Operating farm machinery
- All factors relating to maintenance of the facilities.
- To ensure a clean, hygienic and healthy environment is maintained for all areas of the facility and equipment.
- Must be livestock free and biosecurity conscious.
- To continuously develop and improve themselves and the way they work
- To comply with Company policy and best practise in security, legal and regulatory compliance
- To complete any other duties as required from time to time
- To ensure animal welfare standards / health and safety regulations are adhered to.
Essential Skills:
- Willing to work as part of a team but capable of taking individual responsibility.
- A clean driving licence
- Bobcat / Tractor license and experience
- Previous experience of working in a farm environment.
- Annual leave entitlement starting at 21 days plus bank holiday, increasing with length of service up to 28 days plus bank holidays.
