Do you have a hands-on agricultural background? If so you may want to become Farm Assessor and join our Agriculture on a sub-contractor basis or zero hours basis, to cover Scotland with a focus on Dairy.
ABOUT COMPANY Intertek SAI Global utilises its globally recognised brand to mitigate risks across organisations\xe2\x80\x99 processes, operations and supply chains. It provides Assurance services, including management systems certification and second party audits across a wide variety of end-markets. In addition to management systems certifications, SAI Global Assurance has a particularly strong position in the Food, Agriculture and QSR end-markets, as well as a good presence in environmental & sustainability audits. ABOUT YOU Due to the nature of the position, the ability to empathise and communicate with customers is crucial, alongside a farming background with exposure to Dairy.

• Formal Qualification/Degree in Agriculture or a related field is desirable
• Relevant experience working with associated Dairy industry
• Additionally, experience with any Red Tractor scheme would also be desirable
• Good communication, IT and organizational skills
• Strong writing and analytical skills Ability to work independently and be self-motivated

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY As a Farm Assessor , working on a contract or zero hours basis, you will be required to plan and conduct professional Red Tractor audits to enable the delivery of assessment and certification services that meet customer requirements

• To carry out Red Tractor accredited audit programmes with a focus on Dairy audits
• To deliver specific client training programmes and on-the-job coaching, where required
• To provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to our clients
• To fully follow the Audit Brief for all audits undertaken, ensuring audit specific requirements are met
• To accurately complete all paperwork, handheld data capture forms, and other documentation, as required, for each client audit/visit
• To progress actions speedily and report delays in completion to any agreed timescales
