Schools within the PEGS (Peak Edge Group of Schools) Cluster are seeking to appoint a Family Support Leader to support the needs of children and their families..
The successful applicant will be responsible for identifying the needs, lead and contribute to the development and delivery of high quality and effective work with children, young people and their families.
The post holder will be required to complete various assessments, review action plans and outcomes for families. The post holder will have an overview of the Early Help Offer for a cluster of schools. They will triage family support needs and lead on processes/procedures for Level 2 Emerging Needs Early Help Assessments across the cluster. Where capacity allows, they will take on the professional role for EHAs/TAFs or identify/advise other school colleagues, where appropriate. The post holder will have a Directory of Capacity for pastoral, nurture needs across the cluster and signpost, as necessary.
You will work with various professionals and agencies to build good effective and sustainable working relationships, to ensure that children and young people attend school regularly and that services provided are reviewed, actioned and effective change is demonstrated.
